We've worked with Matt and the team at Washago Plumbing on a number of projects over the last few years and they've been great every time. They replaced a pressure tank at our old place, fixed burst lines when the previous home owner didn't winterize properly, cleared clogged drains, winterized our boathouse - and even this past weekend he came out on a Sunday morning to help us fix our lake intake line when it froze solid. Matt's been friendly, knowledgeable, available when we need him and he goes out of his way to explain what he's doing and why.
My wife and I are writing this review in hope that others will contact Washago Plumbing for your plumbing needs. In today’s environment it is sometimes difficult to find trades that are skilled, professional, knowledgeable and most importantly dependable. When we sold our previous house near Washago, our sewage pump stopped working just days before our real estate closing date. Washago Plumbing attended promptly and fixed the problem so that we could close the deal on time. They upgraded some of the connecting pipes to ensure the job was done properly. In our new home, we immediately contacted Washago Plumbing when we wanted a basement laundry tub installed. After attending promptly and installing the rough-in plumbing, I completed the drywalling, and they returned and installed the laundry tub. Again, they identified an inferior drain stopper as it was known to leak, so they upgraded the part. We were experiencing iron build up in our sump pumps and Matt was so quick to lend a helping hand! He was extremely flexible with his schedule and willing to fit us in. Sure enough he showed up promptly and our pumps are clean as ever! He shared his expertise and advice on how to keep them clean in the future. Matt was available on short notice, arrived on time, was courteous and efficient. Took time to answer my questions and explain what he was doing. Immediately diagnosed another issue that I had been trying to sort out for 2 years! Fairly priced. Most importantly I will be glad to have him back and use his expertise in the future. Matt helped us out 2 times this summer for plumbing emergencies. The first time, he assisted with a leak in our water line, and was able to resolve the problem quickly & efficiently. Later in the summer, Matt helped us with a blockage in our septic pump, and got us back up and running in no time at all. He is friendly, efficient & trustworthy and I would highly recommend him.
